Water bottles are an essential item for both of my kids. From sports to recess, staying hydrated is a must! It seems to be a struggle for my two “littles” to keep up with their water bottles. They have already lost or broken a few bottles each this year. I decided to try and solve at least one of those problems by personalizing their water bottles. This will not only help identify each bottle, but I hope that if the bottles are lost, there is a better chance of them being returned.
I had already purchased two new water bottles from Target. Once I washed the bottles with warm soapy water and towel dried them, I was ready to personalize the bottles. I sifted through the pack of vinyl sheets from Angel Crafts and decided on a different color for each of my kids.
I selected two different fonts and typed out each of my kids’ names in the Silhouette Software. I then cut and transferred the vinyl to each bottle. This project took less than an hour and I am thrilled with the result. Now if anyone has any suggestions on how to keep plastic water bottles from breaking, aside from a good wrapping of bubble wrap, I am open to suggestions.
